We always feel great when we get a testimonial from a client but to read a good one like this in a magazine article is even better, NHFA President Mike Spiller called HomeFurnishings.com the “biggest idea in the 100-year history of the NHFA.”

We’re really proud to be a part of HomeFurnishings.com as we helped plan out the overall strategy of connecting consumers to dealer microsites to brand microsites and built and host the solution.

Now that we’re about to launch the site, the value of the idea gets even better as retailers and brands are signing up to be part of an industry solution that leverages content but protects each retailer and brand.

We can do things online that can’t be done in a store.  If a consumer picks a brand, when they come to the dealer microsite they won’t see any competitive product.  If the consumer picks a dealer first, then they won’t see a dealer locator.

And, the content comes from the National Home Furnishings Association and is leveraged across every dealer’s site.

Next year we’re adding Google Local Search to the program which really helps the buyer and seller make an online connection for an offline sale.

Brands and dealers working together online is a great idea.
