Recently we’ve had discussions about older (think wealthier) people paying attention or not paying attention to brand pages on Facebook.

Well here is a recent study that shows the older folks are starting to pay more and more attention to brands.

The 35 – 54 year old group since September of 2010 has shown quite an increasing interest in brand information on Facebook.

This is just another report that should make brand managers think seriously about their brand information on Facebook.  If consumers want to deal with you on Facebook then you should be putting your best foot forward.

We’ve already seen studies and hear from dealers that they’re putting sites up for their stores and the more savvy ones are asking brands for better content to put on those Facebook sites.   And, the most savvy marketers aren’t waiting to be asked, they’re publishing Facebook friendly content in their ad builder or marketing portals to accommodate this need.

Sounds like a good idea.
