According to a recent report from BIA/Kelsey local digital ad growth is to almost double by 2015, growing from $21.7 billion in 2010 to $42.5 billion in 2015.

They go on to predict that we are fast approaching the tipping point where digital media will become the dominant segment of local advertising.    Here’s why…

To say these are exciting times to be involved in local advertising has to be considered an understatement.  In addition to the challenge of adjusting to new media, the best aspect of what is happening is that local advertising is becoming  more effective.

We simply know more about consumers than we ever could have dreamed of in the past and we can track every keystroke, so we can react to what is happening with each effort.  And often times there isn’t even a publication cost.

Local digital advertising, simply stated is cheaper, better and faster than traditional local advertising.  Its time has come.
