For marketers it means that for 2011 we should be planning on providing our local dealers with mobile promotional sites.  There’s a void there right now for retailers as they’re not really paying attention to the mobile web and even if they are, they don’t have anyone to help them build a mobile site.

Adding a mobile promotional site to your ad builder makes a lot of sense.  A retailer goes online to build a newspaper ad on your system and simultaneously builds a mobile site.  Now your dealers are reaching nearby potential customers with an up-to-date message that is brand friendly.

It won’t be long before your retailers will be building more more mobile ads then newspaper ads and that’s a good thing.
