A recent report by Harris Interactive documents how advertisers are moving rapidly away from traditional media to to the Internet and Digital.

This chart from the report is really showing a dramatic shift in the way advertising is taking place today relative to a year ago.

This is a natural evolution as it follows where consumers are spending their time.  They are online more and reading the newspaper less so it makes sense that advertisers are following the consumer.

The disconnect is still at the local level where advertisers have an even better tool in Google Local for reaching consumers in their market for a fraction of the cost of a local newspaper ad.

The challenge is providing your local retailers the tools they need to buy adwords, build landing pages, track and adjust to the results.  We know several major brands who have figured out how to do this and the results are stunning.
