Amana wanted to sell online without alienating their dealers. JGSullivan Interactive developed a system in which a consumer chooses which appliances they wish to purchase from the Amana website and the dealer from whom they wish to make the purchase. After the order is completed online, the dealer fulfills the order and provides service after the sale. Even if the consumer does not buy online, this is a much richer consumer experience than simply directing them to a dealer locator.
