Advertising on Facebook just got more interactive. Now, Facebook page owners can run an ad to promote any post they’ve added to their page.
So, the ads can now contain videos, photos, events, questions, status updates, and links. And, according to Facebook, “If the people you reach have friends who are fans of your Page, we’ll expand your ad with stories from those friends. This is a much more interactive ad with many ways to engage and many places to reach people.”
For SMBs that use Facebook, this means their ads are much more compelling, interactive and effective. When people interact with the ad or Page, their likes and comments are captured on the Page, and generate News Feed stories to further engage their friends. This means more exposure.
For Brands, this increases the importance of providing good content for your dealers to use on Facebook such as branded Facebook tab pages, videos, product usage tips, product selectors, etc.
If you don’t provide content for your dealers to use online now, your competitors will beat you to it.
